These goat cheese and pomegranate crostinis are a festive way to feed your friends at your next gathering. Just assemble and enjoy!
Made with softened goat cheese, pomegranate seeds, hot honey, and fresh thyme on top of freshly baked crostini, the flavors really shine with this one.
Need more Thanksgiving ideas? I’ve got you covered:
Here’s what you’ll need for this simple appetizer:
Goat cheese: Softened
Pomegranate seeds: They add beautiful color and flavor
Hot honey: Any brand (or homemade!) will do
Fresh thyme: For an herby pop
Crostini: Store-bought or homemade work perfectly
Here’s how to make this easy app:
The first thing you’ll want to do is take the goat cheese out of the refrigerator to soften (this should take about 30 minutes).
If you’re making crostini, now’s the time to do that as well.
Note: I just cut slices of baguette, sprinkle of olive oil, salt, and pepper and roast in a 425 degree F oven for about 15 minutes. Then I flip and roast about 5-10 minutes, depending on how crispy I want them to be. (Sometimes I can get away with just the initial 15, but if Edwin is involved he likes them almost burnt.)
Now, just layer the crostini with the goat cheese, pomegranate seeds, hot honey, and fresh thyme. Enjoy!
