This focaccia sandwich is made with burrata, basil pesto, prosciutto, soppressata, salami, roasted red peppers, arugula, and balsamic glaze.
While I make this with my homemade Overnight Focaccia, you can absolutely use store-bought focaccia.
Here’s what you’ll need:
Focaccia: Homemade or store-bought works.
Italian meats: We’ll be using salami, soppressata, and prosciutto.
Basil pesto: You can use store-bought or my homemade nut free basil pesto.
Roasted red peppers: Store bought or homemade.
Burrata: Because everything is better with burrata.
Balsamic glaze: I use TJ’s brand, but any will do!
Arugula: aka rocket.
This is honestly so easy! Here’s what to do:
Slice your focaccia so you have your open face to work with.
Next I spread the basil pesto on both slices, and then get to piling on!
I start with the burrata (with a pinch of salt and pepper), then add the salami, soppressata, prosciutto, red peppers, arugula, and balsamic glaze.
