Here’s what you need to make this simple recipe:
Pasta: I’m using bowtie pasta, but you can use whatever shape makes you happy.
Cherry tomatoes: Halved.
Mozzarella pearls: You can also cube fresh mozzarella if that’s what you have on hand.
Fresh basil: Julienned, or chopped.
Italian dressing: We’ll be making our own with balsamic vinegar, olive oil, fresh garlic, fresh lemon juice, Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper.
Here’s how to make this recipe:
Cook your pasta and chop up your tomatoes and basil. You can also make the dressing at this time by combining everything in a mason jar and shaking it up.
Now just add everything to one bowl and mix! Leave it in the fridge for at least one hour before serving.
