Caprese Pasta Salad
This simple and delicious caprese pasta salad has bowtie pasta, cherry tomatoes, mozzarella pearls, and fresh basil.

- 8 oz uncooked pasta
- 1 pint cherry tomatoes halved
- 8 oz mozzarella pearls
- 8-10 fresh basil leaves julienned, or chopping
For the dressing
- ¼ cup olive oil
- ¼ cup balsamic vinegar
- 1 lemon juiced
- 1 garlic clove minced
- 1.5 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- Pinch red pepper flakes
Cook the pasta per the instructions. When done, add to a strainer and run cold water over it. Add to a bowl.
Make the dressing by combining everything to a mason jar (or bowl) and mix up.
Add the tomatoes, basil, mozzarella, and dressing to the pasta. Stir to combine. Cover and let sit in the refridgerator for ~1 hour before serving.
