    This pumpkin butter is so easy to throw together, and can be ready with its ultra-smooth, pumpkin-packed flavor in under 30 minutes.

    Pumpkin Butter Ingredients

    Pumpkin puree: Not to be confused with pumpkin pie mix!

    Brown sugar and honey: To add sweetness

    Pumpkin pie spice: If you don’t have any, you can sub in some cinnamon, allspice, ginger, cloves, and nutmeg

    Vanilla extract: It’ll add a nice depth to the pumpkin butter

    Fresh lemon juice: To add a bit of acid to balance this out

    How to Make Pumpkin Butter

    Add everything to the pot. Bring to a boil, then lower to a simmer and let cook for about 20 minutes, or until it becomes a beautiful paste, like this:

    • Add everything to a pot and stir to combine. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer and let cook about 20 minutes, or until it forms a beautiful and smooth paste.
