It’s hard to describe just how delicious this fresh, sweet and slightly spicy mango salsa is — you’ll just have to try it yourself!
The first time I made this salsa it was to pair with my insanely delicious Vaca Frita de Pollo tacos and it was a match made in food heaven. I hope you love this easy mango salsa recipe as much as I do!
What to Pair with Mango Salsa
You can have this mango salsa the same as you would any other salsa! Make it to top tacos or tostadas. You can also serve it as a salsa for chips and guacamole, or you can take a spoon and just eat it on it’s own — not that I’ve ever done that ;).
Mango Salsa Ingredients
I recommend using all fresh ingredients for this recipe — it really makes a difference.
Mangoes: The base for this salsa and what gives it it’s name! Just dice them up and you’re good to go.
Avocado: For creaminess. I dice this the same as I do the mango.
Red bell pepper: Adds a nice, fresh crunch to this salsa.
Jalapeño: For a little spice. Can add more or less as you see fit.
Red onion: I finely chop these for this recipe.
Cilantro: For color and flavor.
Orange & lime juice: Use freshly squeezed if you can.
Kosher salt: To help the flavors pop.
Cumin: For complexity.
Red pepper flakes: For a little spice, and because we love red pepper flakes over here.
Olive oil: To help it all come together.
