This simple chimichurri sauce is packed with flavor and perfect to use on chicken, beef, and fish.
Personally, I used it recently for a Mojo Skirt Steak, and WOW — that was fire.
It’s really so simple to make this — you just need to pop all of the ingredients in a blender and TA-DA!
Here’s what you’ll need:
Olive oil
Herbs: I’m using parsley and cilantro.
Red chilies: 1-2, depending on how *hot* you like it.
Shallot: You can also sub an onion, but I like to keep it a bit milder in this.
Garlic: Everything’s better with garlic.
Spices: We’ll be using kosher salt, pepper, and oregano.
Red wine vinegar: To balance it out.
Here’s what you need to make this simple and delicious condiment.
Use this step to peel your garlic and shallots, deseed your chilies, and measure out any spices or herbs you’ll be using. Chop up anything that needs to be chopped.
Now just add everything to a bowl and mix! Taste for seasoning and adjust as necessary. Ta-da — you’ve made chimichurri!
